Our mission at NewKitDay is to be the premier source of news, industry insight, releases, reviews, special drop dates, collaboration announcements and all things related to cycling apparel.

NewKitDay will focus on showcasing cycling apparel design, functionality, stories, sustainability, trends and any other topics related what is worn on-bike regardless of discipline whether that be road, gravel, criterium racing, commuting, endurance racing, mountain biking, touring etc.

There are a number of high quality, established cycling websites that showcase bikes, accessories, apparel, nutrition, parts and all things cycling. We don’t wish to compete with those fantastic resources. This is where we aim to be different.

We are all about kit.

Marketing by cycling apparel brands is professional, consistent and of a very high calibre. However as a consumer interested in multiple brands, the volume of messaging can become overwhelming.

NewKitDay’s goal is to simplify communication to cyclists about cycling apparel and to provide a curated source for information from a diverse collection of brands in a format that can be easily digested.

NewKitDay will become a channel where cyclists, new and weathered can read news from different brands, view collection summaries, preview releases, gain insights into industry practices, discover background stories and anything else pertinent to cycling apparel.

Our weekly newsletter will feature upcoming releases, industry news, collaborations, stories and promotions with an aim to be relevant depending on a subscribers geographical location and current season.

As a website that is brand agnostic we plan to build an accurate Brand Size Chart/Calculator that will allow prospective customers to match their size amongst different brands and collections.

It is our goal to expose our visitors to numerous cycling apparel brands that are inline with their consumer profile, style, lifestyle choices and budget.

Who is behind NewKitday?

NewKitDay was founded by Sydney based cyclist Aaron Harwood & is backed by his digital agency, Puremedia, with over 28 years in web development and digital marketing.

Aaron is a web developer, lawyer & passionate all weather cyclist averaging over 10,000km per year.
